Aimee Lou Woods has been praised by fans for her latest successful role in White Lotus – with new figures showing how much she made from her most recent TV roles
After a successful role in White Lotus, Aimee Lou Woods reportedly has £2million in the bank following a string of high profile roles.
The British actress’ Pudding Moon Limited firm recently filed accounts to Companies House, showing their earnings. In December, the latest reports showed that Aimee has a healthy £862,000 in cash with another £1,080,000 due from debtors. A boost in her bank balance will come from White Lotus, which supposedly pays around $40,000 (£30,662) per episode, regardless of screen time.
While the star is getting plenty of attention for her role in White Lotus, it is not her first notable performance. Other appearances include Aimee Gibbs in Sex Education, which won her a BAFFTA for Best Female Comedy Performance, Gemma in Daddy Issues and Maya in Alice & Jack.
Aimee is set for plenty more big roles coming too, as it was revealed she is appearing in the new Beatles biopic, according to report. The film, which will also feature Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn and Harris Dickinson, is set to follow the lives of Liverpool’s iconic rock legends.
The Sun reported that Aimee is lined up to play model Pattie Boyd, who was married to George Harrison for 11 years. That would mean Aimee’s on-screen husband would be Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn who it has been confirmed is taking on the role of the famous guitarist.
The former couple wed in 1966 and subsequently divorced in 1977. Pattie remarried musician Eric Clapton in 1979.
Pattie Boyd inspired The Beatles’ hit Something, as well as the Clapton hit Layla.
A source said: “Aimee is a fantastic actress. The similarities between her and Pattie in terms of their looks is uncanny, but Aimee is a brilliant storyteller and is regarded as one of the country’s best acting talents.”
As for White Lotus, the series is set to return again for a fourth set of episodes. Much to HBO viewers’ joy, Variety confirmed that The White Lotus will be returning for another season back in January 2025.
Production is reportedly expected to begin in 2026, although no official release date has been confirmed. The location has also not been confirmed, but all series have taken place in a Four Seasons hotel.
Series three, which has pulled in huge ratings with episode seven hitting 4.8million viewers, was filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in Thailand.
HBO announced an official partnership with the luxury hotel chain ahead of the third season’s premiere, so its likely viewers could be returning to a Four Seasons property soon.
According to producer David Bernad, Mike White “does not like the cold”. So leading theories are revolving around a warm location.
“I feel confident we’ll never do a season in the cold. Mike is not built for…he’s a California guy, he’s not built for the cold. Never say never, but I would be surprised,” he added.
