Britain's Got Talent's David Walliams roasts Ant & Dec during dancing dog act

The latest series of Britain’s Got Talent kicks off on ITV tonight.

And a new set of hopefuls are looking to impress BGT judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

And it looks like David, 48, is up to his old tricks again.

The comedian will be seen roasting hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly tonight as he makes a jibe about their height during a dancing dog act.

As Russian dancer Diana Vedyashinka performs with her five pet Dachshunds, David is seen quipping Ant and Dec could take a ride home on the tiny pups’ backs.

Luckily, the new series was filmed earlier this year before the coronavirus lockdown.

However, it is thought that the live semi-finals and final may be disrupted.

Tonight’s show will be kicked off by St Anne’s Gospel Choir from the London auditions.

The group, made up of 81 girls aged 11-35, belt out their version of Emeli Sandé’s Shine.

They are followed by hip hop dance group Nu Crew from Glasgow, aged five to 10.

The crew perform to a remixed song full of commercial music and nursery rhymes.

Simon, 60, and his son Eric, six, are involved in the next audition as magic act James and Dylan Piper perform a card and mind trick.

While dancer Yakub, 10, from Stratford-upon-Avon, auditions with a routine from the The Lion King.

Belgium’s Papi Flex, 26, also leaves the judging panel screeching in horror over his flexible moves.

Meanwhile, novelty act as Steve Royle, 51, from Manchester attempts to impress the judges with his ping pong and juggling act.

The last audition of Saturday’s show is wannabe super villain, Mr Cuddles. He has a ‘time machine’ to help him transform into one of the judges.
