Liam Payne's son Bear says he and Cheryl 'need him here' in cute video message

One Direction superstar Liam Payne has told of the adorable moment his son Bear asked him to come home amid the ongoing lockdown.

The Strip That Down singer, whose new single Midnight featuring Alesso is out now, explained how the three-year-old made the cute admission during a FaceTime call.

Speaking in a new YouTube weekly Vlog, Liam said: “Bear has been extremely funny at the moment. Very cute as well.

“It has been the toughest time at the moment being away from him.

“On FaceTime I’ve had everything from him jumping up and down on a trampoline in wellington boots, playing a ukulele, wearing a princess dress and a fireman’s jacket.

Liam has revealed Bear told him he and Cheryl needed him

“If you can imagine that. That is what he was doing at the time.”

Liam, 26, added: “Sometimes he wants to say hello on FaceTime and other times he doesn’t want to say hello.

“I used to be like that. I can see a lot of myself in him.

“The other day he said ‘we need you here now daddy’.

“Bless him… made me want to cry.”

Liam recently told Daily Star Online how while Bear loves both his and Cheryl’s music, his favourite track is Cheryl’s 2019 hit Love Made Me Do It.

During an exclusive chat, Liam said: “Honestly, when Cheryl comes on the TV he just becomes bemused.

“He looks at the TV and starts dancing crazy.

Like when Love Made Me Do It came out and she performed it on the X Factor he kept playing it over and over again.”
