Carlos Santana’s youngest brother Jorge has reportedly died at age 68 of “natural causes”.
Jorge, who who sang the 1970s hits Suavecito and Darling I Love You, died on Thursday according to his rep who reportedly confirmed the news to TMZ.
The star was also catapulted into fame of his own right following his singles Maria Maria and Black Magic Woman which are timeless.
The San Francisco native was reportedly a close sibling to Carlos, whose band he played with in the 1990s, but he carved out a career of his own in the 1970s with the hit songs Suavecito, Darling I Love You, Love The Way and Sandy.

According to TMZ, Jorge’s rep said the singer passed away on Thursday of “natural causes”.
The pair come from a very large family, in addition to each other the famous siblings also have Antonio, Laura, Irma, Maria and Leticia.
Jorge kicked off his own musical career early as he wanted to be like his older brother Carlos, who was also reportedly “gifted at a young age”.
While growing up, the both of them would enjoy singing for the family as they grew up in the Bay Area.

At age 14 Jorge started playing professionally in San Francisco.
From then, in the 1960s he joined the band The Malibus with his high school friends.
The band’s song Suavecito went on to be a mega hit while signed with Warner Bros music.
They even went on to play on the popular music and dance show American Bandstand in 1972.
The band name was then changed to Malo which means bad in Spanish as they joked they were bad.
Malo came out with a total of four albums then split up before he worked with The Fania All-Stars.
After the band broke up, Jorge started a solo career and that is when his hit song It’s all About Love came out.
His other standout songs are Darling I Love You, Love The Way and Sandy.
In the 1990s, he began to tour with Carlos – who has worked with Beyonce – and they collaborated on the 1994 album Santana Brothers.
