Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones has ended his 18-month silence, after a nasty jibe from love rival Seann Walsh last year.
Putting an end to the speculation, Neil , 38, finally spoke out on the subject of his sexuality after keeping silent for 18 months.
Rumours about his sexuality had first come to light after Seann, 34, was caught passionately snogging and embracing his wife Katya in the street.
The English comedian later called Neil gay after he was caught in the act, kissing his wife Katya.
With lots of widespread condemnation and the public outrage, Seann dug himself an even deeper hole, adding: “I’m the guy who kissed a gay man’s wife.”

BBC regular Neil has finally quashed Seann’s cruel accusations confirming, he is not gay.
Speaking out on the matter, for the first time, Neil said: “In ballroom there’s a lot of straight guys.
“But mum was always like, ‘It’s a shame you’re not gay because we could go shopping together.
“And I was thinking, ‘Whether I’m gay or not there’s no chance, you take forever’.”
The snogging scandal consequently saw the couple who had been married since 2013 part ways.
Neil and Katya eventually announced their split, in August last year, with the couple spending 10 months trying to salvage their marriage.
In a heartfelt joint Instagram statement, the pair wrote: “We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends.
“This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
“We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends.

“We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx.”
Only last month Katya who has also remained silent on the scandal addressed her thoughts and feelings as she turned 30 last year, expressing that she now feels “wholesome, happy and blessed,” as she entered her 31st birthday.
The dancer told Instagram followers “In exactly a month today is going to be my 31st birthday. Turning 30 last year was a very challenging time for me.
“And even though I was on dance tour, doing what I love around my friends, I couldn’t find my peace
“But this year , even in isolation, even with possibility that I won’t be able to celebrate with my friends or see anyone at all, I couldn’t feel more wholesome, happy and blessed.”
