Good Morning Britain returned to our screens today with Sean Fletcher and Charlotte Hawkins on presenting duties.
It was confirmed last week that American-British journalist Sean, 46, would replace Ben Shephard on the ITV breakfast show on Thursdays and Fridays for the rest of the month.
Sean hosted GMB for the first time this morning since February.
Ben, 45, is currently taking some time off from presenting the ITV morning programme to film new episodes of Tipping Point.
Sean and actor Adil Ray will take over the reigns throughout August and present GMB alongside Kate Garraway, 53, and Charlotte, 45.
Sports presenter Sean returned to the studio after six months working from home during lockdown and fans rallied behind him on his first day in the hot seat.
The TV personality, who used to have a close shave hair style, told viewers that “the new hair is staying” as he debuted a brand new look to mark his return to the show.
GMB viewers were delighted to see Sean back in the anchor’s seat after a six-month break.
One fan said: “Morning Sean. Good to have your smiling face back! The longer hair actually makes you look younger! “
Another said: “Love you Sean… you’re great… sexy hair!”
One more wrote: “Welcome back and good morning Sean Fletcher love the new hairdo you are supporting. Charlotte Hawkns lovely to see you to. Have a great day.”
Sean said he had a chance to grow out his natural hair in lockdown and it’s here to stay.
He said: “I can confirm I am Sean Fletcher but I’m not the Sean Fletcher I was before.

“My son has always been desperate for me to grow my hair … People treat me with a lot more respect now I have my long hair. I’m 46 and I think the short hair made me look younger.”
Sean revealed he was often mistaken for weather presenter Alex Beresford when he had a shaved head.
The dad-of-two has been the face of a number of shows on BBC and ITV and is awarded the hot seat while Piers Morgan and Ben take time off.

The show slipped in the announcement while talking to Sean about his new show Sean Fletcher’s Welsh Adventure.
Sean, 46, chatted to hosts Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh last month about his latest documentary, when Ranvir revealed they would be teaming up on air together in August.
“Aren’t you coming back here for a stint in August?” she asked him.
And Sean, who sported a new beard and longer hair, confirmed: “I think so, with Ranvir. I’ll have to check my rota!”
Afterwards, Adil pointed out his promotion and said: “It wasn’t clear there, but I believe Sean is going to be main hosting as well. That’s brilliant.”
Regular hosts Piers and Susanna Reid are expected to return to the show in September.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
