Katie Price back home after hospital scare but warned to 'keep legs in air'

Katie Price has been ordered to keep her legs in the air after being rushed to hospital again as she recovered from a horror accident, it is claimed.

The reality star, 42, fractured both of her heels in a painful accident while on holiday in Turkey.

She was rushed into hospital and told fans how her legs were “smashed and mangled”, before having surgery.

Today she taken back to hospital in extreme pain after another setback in her recovery and later spotted leaving with what appeared to be fresh bandages.

A source claims doctors ordered her to go home and stay in bed.

The source told The Sun Online: “Katie has been sent home and told in no uncertain terms that she must keep her legs up or they won’t heal properly.

“She’s just going to have to lie down and give herself time to heal.”

After her re-admission to hospital Katie’s representative said: “After an extremely restless night in pain I can confirm that Katie was taken to at Epsom Hospital A&E, she was later transferred to Chelsea and Westminster where she has been seen by her consultant.”

The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star was recently left devastated after being told by doctors that her injuries are “life changing”.

The media personality revealed the surgeon’s diagnosis just moments before she had her operation.

She told the camera crew who were following her journey to surgery: “They’re smashed, broken and it’s bad, really bad.”

After her surgery, the surgeons her injuries were worse than they’d previously thought.

Katie explained in the video after her operation: “They were more smashed up and mangled… which made their job harder.

“It will be two years before I can absolutely walk properly.”
