Country songstress Dolly Parton is not only known for her record-breaking music but also her quick wit and humour.
The 74-year-old has won over her legions of fans with her iconic country hits as well as her outspokenness and hilarious gags.

Dolly stunned the entire audience as she took to the stage at the Emmys in 2017 with her former cast members from the Box Office smash 9 to 5.
Taking to the stage with her co-star’s at her side, she sent Twitter ablaze as she completely floored fans with a sex toy joke.
The blonde said: “I’m just here to have a good time tonight … I’m just hoping that I’m going to get one of those ‘Grace and Frankie’ vibrators in my swag bag tonight.”
Fans couldn’t hold back their laughter as they took to social media.

The country singer, may be blonde but she certainly does not fit the stigma attached to the hair colour, that’s for sure.
Although Dolly is better known for her playful attitude, she is actually incredibly smart, often hitting the nail on the head with some of her iconic quotations.
Back in 2003, at a press conference, she spoke out about sexist criticism she had faced early on in her career.
What Dolly was about to unleash resonated with so many at that time – had she have aired her views in this day and age, she’d have likely gone viral.
Simply responding to questions, she famously said: “I’d like to think I’ve got a brain beneath the wig and a heart beneath the boobs.”

Back in the 1980s, Dolly took to big screens in the hit film 9 to 5, that saw her completely propel to stardom.
During filming, the songstress turned businesswoman, couldn’t resist having a giggle with her chum and co-star Jane Fonda.
Being the cheeky and quick witted person that she is, she ceased her moment to relay a gag about Kermit The Frog.
In the blooper moment, that was later released, Dolly turned to Jane and asked: “Do you know what’s green and smells like Miss Piggy?
Before her on-screen chum could respond, she stunned everyone when she quipped back: “Kermit’s finger”

In 2006, Dolly proved to be the most graceful loser after she lost narrowly missed out on securing an Oscar.
The American songwriter faced stiff competition after she was categorised for the Best Original Song.
Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be and Dolly lost out to Three 6 Mafia who pipped her to the post.
Despite losing, she showed tremendous support for her rivals, cheering and clapping as though she’d taken the crown herself.

Earlier this year, Dolly almost broke the internet as she took to her Twitter platform to join in on the ‘Me on LinkedIn vs. Facebook vs. Instagram vs. Tinder’ fun.
Taking fans on a walk down memory lane the iconic singer, songwriter, and actress shared four photos of herself, captioning: “Get you a woman who can do it all.”
Getting in on the action, she carefully selected her four favourite snaps that she felt would best suit her profile picture for each digital platform.
Inevitably, the most professional photo was, labeled “LinkedIn,” the outdoors and fun snap, “Facebook,” a black and white snap as “Instagram,” and finally she knocked it out of the park with her selection for Tinder image.
Ramping up the sex appeal for Tinder, she opted for a picture from her Playboy photoshoot, showcasing her curves in full on bunny attire.
Turning down Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley, who was labelled the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, was famously turned down by the Island In The Streams hitmaker.
The Jail House Rock singer came knocking on Dolly’s door, wanting to record her hit song I Will Love You but in exchange for half of the publishing rights.
Speaking about letting the American icon down, she told CNBC Meets how Colonel Tom Parker – who was his manager at the time – had called her to relay the news about the 50 percent stakes.
Not willing to compromise, Dolly responded: “Well this has already been a hit for me and this is in my publishing company and I can’t give you half of it.”
Without hesitation Colonel Tom Parker said: “Well then we can’t do it.'”

Dolly certainly made the headline when she appeared on The Tonight Show with chatty host Jimmy Fallon.
Delving deep into conversation, somehow the dialog diverted to record producer’s husband Carl Dean, who she secretly married in 1966.
Showcasing the strength of her marriage, she revealed on the show that her husband had the hots from Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
Knocking the host off of his chair, the singing legend landed a bombshell comment that nobody was prepared for.
She said: “My husband is crazy about her [Jennifer Aniston] . I think he fantasies a threesome with us but he can’t even get it out to pee, much less get it up for three!”
