ITV faces 'alien abductions' at haunted I'm A Celebrity castle says expert

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestants could face a brush with real-life aliens during their stay at a haunted Abergele castle.

Extra-terrestrial expert Russ Kellett claims that North Wales is a “hotspot” for coming into contact with those living on other planets.

It’s said that a UFO crash at Berwyn Mountains in the 1970s is the cause of the visits from extra-terrestrial life forms with locals claiming that strange noises can be heard over Llangollen and lights often being visible from the skies.

Kellet told North Wales Live he believes that on the night of the famous Berwyn Mountains incident, a UFO came crashing down before being taken away by the Ministry of Defence as part of a military operation.

He went on to say that there is often alien activity in Conwy which could put celebs in danger.

Kellet, who is currently working on a TV show about the “corridor” of activity in Wales, believes that people are scared to voice their concerns.

He told the media outlet that there is even a chance an alien abduction could happen while I’m A Celeb is broadcasting live.

The investigator went on to say: “If anything [an alien] wanted to abduct people [then] it would,” adding that ITV may have chosen the famous Gwrych Castle because of its history.

An ITV insider previously told Daily Star Online: “Producers have picked an area that has had numerous unexplained sightings.

“If there are any extra-terrestrial visitors, it will certainly make for good telly.”

Mr Kellett hasn’t been approached by bosses at ITV but says that he is more than ready to help play a part in the show.

“Forget get me out of here, get me in there, we have equipment [so any extra-terrestrial life] will come to us,” he exclaimed.

The first UK edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will air on ITV next month.

Daily Star Online has approached the Ministry of Defence for comment.
