Sky News' Kay Burley apologises after Biden supporter yells 'b****es' on air

Sky News presenter Kay Burley was forced to apologise to viewers when a Joe Biden supporter yelled “suck it b****es” during an interview.

The 59-year-old journalist was on the streets in Washington speaking to people after news agencies began calling the race for Biden.

In the interview broadcasted on live TV, a proud supporter of the Democrat leader shares his feelings of the election.

The man, who wears a “f**k Trump” face covering and a black t-shirt with a bright orange logo stating “Trump-Pence Out Now”, tells Kay: “It’s finally over.

“Let reconstruction of America begin, for real.

“Make America great again. Suck it up, b****es!”

Kay is quick to react and turns to the camera, saying: “Okay, maybe not that bit at the end.

“I can only apologise for some of the terminology. Everyone expresses themselves in different ways.”

Eagle-eyed viewers took it to Twitter after watching the rant on live TV.

One said: “Suck it b****es,” well done Sky News for capturing probably the best reaction of today.”

Another wrote: “On Sky News and it’s very worth it just for Kay Burley having to apologise for someone saying ‘suck it up b****es’ on live tv.

“Always gold when you interview the public live on tv,” a third added.

Kay also retweeted the clip and wrote: “At your service” after some praised for her professionalism at doing live vox on television.

It came after Joe Biden winning Pennsylvania, which put him over the top of the 270 electoral votes he needs to become the next president of the United States.
