Tipping Point fans distracted by contestant's constant interrupting

Tipping Point fans were left ‘annoyed’ at one contestant during Thursday’s show, who had a terrible habit of interrupting host Ben Shephard.

During the quick-fire round, star Jim wanted to show off his general knowledge skills but failed to impress viewers after he kept lunging in before the question had been fully asked.

In a desperate attempt to be hot off the mark, it backfired and Jim found himself answering a number of questions incorrectly due to jumping in too rapidly.

Fans couldn’t hold back their annoyance as they took to Twitter to fume.

“Jim trying his best to break the buzzer! #tippingpoint,” read one Tweet.

“Jim Jim Jim Jim. Bl**dy hell, suffering from premature enunciation there matey #tippingpoint,” said another.

While a third found it tricky to keep up with the game after Jim kept on intruding Ben, penning: “#tippingpoint answering questions too fast Jim! Now we all have to wait for the questions to be read out all over again!”

It wasn’t just viewers of the show who seemed to find his habit irritating, as TV presenter Ben, even found himself warning Jim for barging in too swiftly.

Jim had missed out on valuable point scoring because he’d been eager to answer the questions faster than anyone else.

After round two had finished, Ben quipped: “You were jumping in on some of them there.”

At which point the TV legend revealed two scenarios that Jim could have easily answered correctly had he allowed him time to finish asking the question.

In spite of his shifty start Jim went on to bank £2450

His initial blunder didn’t seem to hinder his chances as he eventually went on the final round going head-to-head against Barbara.

Despite a shifty start and agood pass from Barbara, Jim who wanted to put any winnings towards a trip to Disney Land did end up in the final heat.

Having a good round of successful questions the hopeful managed to bank an impressive £2450.

Leaving with the hefty sum, he vowed to take his grandchildren on a trip of a lifetime.
