Friends star Matthew Perry, 51, engaged to 29-year-old girlfriend Molly Hurwitz

Friends actor Matthew Perry has revealed he proposed to his 29-year-old girlfriend Molly Hurwitz, and she said yes.

The 51-year-old Chandler Bing star gushed about his new fiancee as he branded her “greatest woman on the face of the planet”.

In an interview with People Magazine, he announced: “I decided to get engaged.

“Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.”

Literary manager, Molly, confirmed she was dating Matthew in a sweet social media pst on Valentine’s Day.

She wrote: “Second year being my valentine, but his first as an Instagram influencer. HVD to my favourite.”

The couple’s romance began in 2018, and they are thought to have spent the holidays together in 2019.

This will be Matthew’s first wedding, and the Friends star has shared romances with a string of famous faces in the past.

These include Yasmine Bleeth and Julia Roberts, the latter of whom had a guest role in the iconic sitcom.

Matthew made headlines recently after he confirmed the hotly-anticipated Friends reunion will be filmed in March 2021.

Filming was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it looks like fans will get their Friends fix after all.

It had initially been scheduled to air in May, with Matthew, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer coming back.

But Matthew, who played Chandler Bing on the iconic show, tweeted on Thursday: “Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March.

“Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!”
