Phillip Schofield has made a dig at Piers Morgan by trying to put his book into a rubbish disposal unit.
The 58-year-old This Morning presenter and GMB host Piers, 55, used to be rivals years ago.
They fell out when Morgan published an unofficial biography on Schofield in 1992.
Despite the ITV stars being friends again, Phil still took the opportunity to poke fun at his former rival in a cheeky video.
During the online clip, Phillip held up Piers’ book Wake Up, and then attempted to put it in the rubbish crusher.
Phil shared the video with his 3.2million followers on Instagram, captioning the clip: “New Insinkerator installed, amazing! Apparently it will dispose of almost anything… @PiersMorgan”, adding kissing and laughing emojis to the end of his comment.

In another video, the cover of Piers’ book was seen being crushed in the sink.
Schofield wrote over the top of the second post: “Yup, bit chewy, but that works @PiersMorgan”.
Phil’s new autobiography, Life’s What You Make It, was released on the same day as Piers’ book (15th October).

The Cube presenter wrote about his falling out with Piers in his book, detailing the reason why they didn’t speak for years.
Phil originally thought Piers was writing a series of articles, but found out it was actually a book.
He said he was saving interesting mementos which were sent to Piers, but nothing appeared in the newspaper.

Phil eventually got his mementos back, but then discovered Piers had used them in an unofficial biography about Phil.
He wrote in Life’s What You Make It: “I was furious. Not so much that he had written the book, but that he had deceived me.
“We didn’t speak for a long time. There were awkward moments: once, the two of us were in a lift for what felt like an endless descent.”
However, the television stars eventually made amends and Phillip shook his hand on Test the Nation.
