BBC Breakfast ‘s weather presenter Carol Kirkwood did not seem impressed today as she appeared on the show to give the latest forecast.
Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty were presenting the show today, but during one of their links to the weather, she couldn’t help making a cheeky dig.
Naga said: “Chilly outside and it’s going to get colder and there’s going to be snow as well.
“Why are you here, Carol?”
Carol hit back: “Because some of that was right, Naga.
“But not all of it.”
She then continued with the forecast, cheekily saying: “Naga is right that we’ve got a cold start to the day.”
This isn’t the first time the two women have clashed this week, as fans were left stunned when Naga insisted Carol move out of the way for a photo.
Naga was standing in for Louise Minchin and was presenting with Dan Walker when she made a dig about Carol being in the way of a stunning picture.
Dan said to viewers: “It’s one of those mornings where there’s going to be a lot happening.
“But Carol is here to tell us…with a beautiful picture!”
Seeing the snap, Naga commented: “That is stunning.”
But she couldn’t resist getting a cheeky swipe in as she joked: “Carol if you just move out the way, it would improve the picture a hell of a lot more.”
Carol hit back quickly: “What a shame you’ve got to rush Naga, thank you.”
Brushing off the comment, she cracked on with the weather update as she said: “Good morning everybody.
“It is a beautiful picture and it is also a sign of things to come because we are expecting some snow in the forecast over the next few days and nights.
“Mostly on higher ground, but occasionally in the heavier bursts, it will get down to lower levels.”
BBC Breakfast continues tomorrow at 6am on BBC.
