Bam Margera kicked off Jackass 4 as team rally to get him help after meltdown

Bam Margera has reportedly been kicked off the Jackass 4 film for good.

The actor and skateboarder recently lashed out at the production team of the latest instalment of the franchise, making them concerned for his welfare.

Bam revealed he was being cut out of the movie.

But it has since been reported that the reason for his departure from the film has to do with his addiction issues, reports TMZ.

A source told the publication that Bam was told by producers that he will no longer be part of the movie going forward as he reportedly breached his contract.

It’s believed the Jackass team wanted Bam to be a part of the film from the beginning, however bosses were always worried things wouldn’t turn out as hoped due to his past substance use.

TMZ also reports that initially, Bam was presented with conditions he needed to comply with if he wanted to stay on the project, however he reportedly failed to meet his end of the deal.

It’s also claimed that during the production, he had to submit to breathalyser and urine tests, and that his medications were being mandated by Paramount, the studio behind the movie.

In several disturbing – and since deleted – videos posted to his Instagram last week, the skateboarder appeared to be intoxicated as he yelled: “Who the f**k cares if I’m drunk as hell or not anymore?

“Jackass has put me through f**king hell on f**king wheels for the past year and a half.”

The day after the videos were uploaded on social media, Bam reversed his course by saying he realised he has “manic bipolar” disorder.

“It’s going to be f**king awesome, and it’s going to be in a way where everyone wins in the end,” he said. “So I love everybody.”

He also added that he was going to see a “bipolar specialist”.

Daily Star has contacted Paramount, director Jeff Tremaine’s reps and Bam’s reps for comment.
