ITV’s hit dating show Love Island has become one of the broadcaster’s most profitable money churners, with advertisers fighting for a spot to be seen in the show’s advertising schedule and brands working tirelessly to get their products on the programme.

And according to recent reports, ITV managed to accumulate £12m in revenues even before the first episode aired on TV.

But as well as making a huge profit for the television network, Love Island has produced previous contestants that have done very well financially too.

Some of Love Island’s past candidates have gone on to successfully accumulate eye-watering amounts of cash once their season finalise, with the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Dani Dyer and Megan Barton-Hanson becoming millionaires since their series ended in their own right.

So Daily Star have taken a look into Love Island’s richest stars ever.

Molly-Mae Hague

Although she was a runner up in the 2019 series of the dating show, Molly-Mae Hague has become one of Love Island’s biggest success stories.

According to research by Pilot Fish Media, the blonde beauty is the most successful islander and 4th most successful reality tv star of the decade.

With an estimated net worth of the £2.4million, it is believed that Molly can charge up to £12,943 per sponsored post alone.

She has also been known to charge up to £10,000 for a joint personal appearance with boyfriend Tommy Fury.

Not only this, but the reality star struck gold when she secured a major clothing deal with online fashion retailer Pretty Little Thing.

Megan Barton Hanson

Blonde bombshell Megan Barton-Hanson also became very successful since finishing fourth place on the fourth series of Love Island.

After her series finished, Megan has managed to remain in the spotlight and has become a major success with selling content on subscription site OnlyFans.

In fact, the blonde bombshell has become the website’s top ten highest earners in the world.

And according to SlotsUp Casino, Megan earns £807,559 a month from the site alone.

The 22-year currently has 3.5million followers on Instagram, but this also means that it is believed that he can charge £8,123 per post on the platform, according to TopRatedCasinos.

The brunette hunk is also believed to have a net worth of over £1million.

Tommy has managed to accumulate his wealth by promoting big brands for the likes of Disney+ and McDonalds.

Dani Dyer

2018’s winner Dani Dyer impressed the nation with her loveable nature and her larger than life characteristics, but when the show finished the actor’s daughter managed to make some serious bank.

On Instagram, it is believed the star can charge £8,044 per a sponsored post.

Thanks to major brand deals and clothing line, the star reportedly made £16,000 more than her father Danny Dyer last year.

And according Pilot Fish Media, Dani has a net worth of £2.9million.

Olivia and Alex Bowen

Married couple Olivia and Alex Bowen have collectively made some serious cash since the second series of 2016’s Love Island came to an end.

Although they didn’t win, the stars have continued to remain in the public eye and according to reports they managed to rack up a massive £4.4 million collectively since leaving the villa.

The pair have now been crowned as the highest earners of Love Island since the series began.

Essex babe Olivia, who came runner up on her series alongside Alex, is thought to be able to charge a £6,082 per Instagram post.

Maura Higgins

Brunette beauty Maura Higgins has made a killing since leaving the villa in 2019.

The 30- year-old, is now believed to be a millionaire which is partly due to her £500,000 deal with lingerie retailer Ann Summers.

It is also believed that the Irish babe can charge a whopping £7,529 per post on Instagram.

Amber currently has 2.6million followers on the social media platform, which gives her the option to charge £6,117 for a single post.

The star has also recently launched an ultra-glam shoe and clothing collection with online store Public Desire.

Kem Cetinay

He’s also estimated to have a net worth of 1.5million.

Olivia Attwood

Due to this, Olivia can reportedly secure at least £4,468 per an Instagram post.

Recently, the star also launched her own fashion line collaboration with online clothing store I Saw It First.
