Amber Heard says she's both 'mom and dad' after welcoming secret baby girl

Actress Amber Heard shared a rare photo of her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard to Instagram on Thursday.

Amber’s baby, who was born in April via surrogate mother, was held in the actress’ arms as she focused on a laptop screen at a table at home.

She captioned the post with: “I’m just the mom and the dad. She’s the boss.”

Her 4million Instagram followers loved the post as Amber had previously revealed she may never be able to have her own child.

The Aquaman star wore a black tank top and her hair up in a messy bun with glasses and a chunky watch.

Her daughter was dressed in a pink onesie and a grey knitted cap.

The child’s name can be pronounced “oo-nuh” and is of Irish origin meaning “lamb”.

Paige as her middle name may be a tribute to Amber’s late mother Paige Heard, who died in May 2020.

On July 1 Amber announced her baby news on Instagram and discussed her personal life in the caption: “A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.”

The actress stressed the importance of women being able to become parents regardless of their marital status.

She wrote: “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way

“I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

She ended her post with: “She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.”

For a few years now, Amber has been locked in a legal feud with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, to whom she was married for a year in 2015 as both deny each other’s allegations of domestic violence.

In 2018 Amber claimed to have received death threats and lost work as a result of accusing Depp of abuse.

In November 2020 his fans viciously trolled her on Twitter and a UK judge opposed Depp’s lawsuit against an English news publication for calling him a “wife-beater”, citing that the accusations Heard made were “substantially true”.

Depp’s $50m (£35m) US libel case against Heard was recently delayed to April 2022.

Meanwhile, Amber has been busy online posing with her little baby girl, Oonagh.
