TOWIE legend Lauren Goodger and her partner Charles Drury have welcomed their first daughter together today.
A representative for the reality star told OK! on Tuesday: “Mother and baby are doing really well. Lauren and her partner Charlie are really looking forward to spending some quality time with their new arrival.”
The new parents are yet to share any snaps of their baby girl on social media.
Lauren, 34, announced the happy news to her fans that she was expecting her first child with Charles, 23, in January 2021.
However, she admitted that her boyfriend didn’t believe it was true when she initially told him she had a positive pregnancy test at the time.
In her pregnancy announcement interview, Lauren said excitedly: “I got told I’m having this baby in July, and then in December I’m going to be pregnant again with a boy.”
In early June, weeks before her due date, Lauren splashed out on a luxurious babymoon with her boyfriend.
Sharing her five-star experience with her fans on Instagram, the star wrote: “Staying at one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed in and that’s a first for the UK!!
“The food was unreal in your exclusive restaurant ‘The Firepit’ … perfect timing before our baby is arriving next month!!
“Thanks so much for your hospitality I can’t wait to come back, maybe for a round of golf now back to the penthouse.”
Lauren has been very open with her fans regarding her pregnancy and informed her followers of some of the struggles she had endured while pregnant.
In her column for OK!, Lauren expressed that her midwife told her she must slow down during her pregnancy in order to protect the health of her baby and herself.
Not only this, but the midwife previously informed her that the baby had stopped growing “a little bit”.
Lauren explained: “[It] sounds scary, but her growth will speed up as the weeks go on my little girl is bang on the middle of a normal weight at the moment.”
“The midwife asked me what I’ve been up to and I told her about re-starting my aesthetics business and she said this is the time where I should be slowing down and not taking on something new.”
Lauren starred in the ITVBe reality show The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 until 2012, debuting in the first series before departing in series 6.
