Frogmore Cottage is home to Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Originally the property was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s residence after moving in in April 2019, intended to be their UK home whenever they chose to visit.
However after the pair moved permanently to America in March 2020, it was revealed they had given the property to Eugenie and Jack to have as their home ahead of the arrival of their first child, August, who was born in February of this year.
A royal insider told The Sun: “Frogmore Cottage continues to be the Sussexes’ residence in the UK and they are delighted to be able to open up their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own family.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously renovated Frogmore Cottage, which boasts five bedrooms and is located only a few minutes away from Windsor Castle, just in front of Frogmore House.
The couple were gifted a series of painting from the Queen’s own personal collection when they moved in.
“Meghan and Harry were told they can choose some artwork for Frogmore Cottage,” a Palace insider told Vanity Fair.
Since Eugenie and Jack have moved in, she has shared many snaps of the inside of her home on Instagram, allowing fans a glimpse into its redecoration.
The photos show that the couple have chosen a very neutral colour palette throughout the house, with natural and bohemian touches.
The style of the home is strikingly similar to that of Meghan and Harry’s mansion in Montecito.
In June, Eugenie posted a video to Instagram of little August playing in which royal followers were able to see a sneak peek into the kitchen of Frogmore Cottage.
The stylish wooden flooring and kitchen cupboards seemed traditional with a lovely modern twist.
The living room also follows the tonal palette, with a white sofa and cream walls adored with oversized bohemian style cushions.
On Father’s Day, Eugenie posted a picture of Jack cradling baby August in a small room with beige walls and white doors.
It marks a huge change from Eugenie’s former home of Royal Lodge, which was full off wild interiors with lots of clashing prints and bold colours.
