Happy couple Kate and Rio Ferdinand have been enjoying a tranquil family getaway to celebrate Rio’s son Tate’s 13th birthday.
New mum Kate Ferdinand and former England footballer Rio spent some quality time away recharging their batteries with children Lorenz, Tate, Tia and Cree on a beach holiday.
And from the looks of it, the Ferdinands have had a lovely time and have enjoyed dolphin watching as they celebrated Tate’s birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Kate showered her fans with a collection of snaps which gave them an insight into what’s been taking place.
In one of her holiday photos, Kate can be seen standing in a small black bikini while on a yacht.
The star looked radiant and summer body ready as she gleamed happily towards the camera while showing off her amazingly toned physique.
She also added a straw hat and dark sunglasses to the look.
In another photo, Kate and Rio can be seen posing together lovingly. The footballer’s wife wore a russet coloured cropped top accompanied with matching trousers and a straw bag.
Whereas Rio looked relaxed yet smart in a black unbuttoned shirt and matching trousers. He also added chunky sandals to the overall look.
While providing an array of beautiful snaps, Kate expressed the reason for her much-needed vacation to her fans online.
She told her loyal fans: “Needed to switch off and enjoy some special time with my favourite people.”
Fans seemed to love what they saw and took to the comment section to share their adoration towards her pics.
One follower said: “Beautiful.”
“Gorgeous images,” another chimed.
“Just what we all need sometimes,” a third penned.
Blonde beauty Kate welcomed baby boy Cree with Rio in December 2020.
She’s also a loving step-mum to Rio’s three children from his previous marriage to his late wife Rebecca Ellison.
Kate and Rio tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in September 2019.
In January this year, Kate openly expressed her excitement about being a mum for the first time. But she also told fans about her lows in the honest post.
The star said candidly: “Don’t get me wrong I am blessed to live the life I do; a husband, four beautiful kids, two dogs (one that’s still protesting because of baby!!) … some moments I’m feeling amazing and full of love, but I’m too often left feeling low, like I can’t escape.
“I’m not sure if this is the after effects of an emergency C-section, or the stress of another lockdown – maybe it’s even a mix of both.”
