Emily Atack is a star in her own right after making her Inbetweeners debut as Charlotte ‘big jugs’ Hinchcliffe back in 2008.
After the show had finished Emily went on to strike up a reality star career, first appearing in Dancing On Ice in 2010 and then 10 years later I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The blonde bombshell became runner up to Harry Redknapp and later landed herself a deal co-presenting the spin-off show.
More recently, she teamed up with Keith Lemon and Laura Whitmore becoming a captain on Celebrity Juice.
Although, Emily herself has struck up quite the lucrative career in the limelight, she isn’t the only member in her family to have done so.
Here, we uncover Emily’s famous relatives – including her soap star mum and Beetles legend cousin.
Kate Robbins -Emily’s mum
It seems Emily has opted to follow in the same footsteps of her famous mum who had a starring role in Crossroads, Dinnerladies and satirical show Spitting Image.
In 1980, she represented the UK at the Eurovision Song contest with her sister Jane as group Prima Donna – the pair finished in third place.
The following year, she topped the UK charts with a lead-vocal hit hit single More Than Love.
Kate is a lady of many talents and even took up song writing, with her biggest claim to fame being the theme tune to Cilla Black’s ITV programme Surprise Surprise.
She has also appeared in Holby City, Last Of The Summer Wine and The Harry Enfield show – to name a few.
Kate’s latest TV stint is on EastEnders, playing music agent Jen who looks into taking Whitney Dean onto her books as a professional singer.
Keith Atack – Emily’s dad
While Keith didn’t quite have the same career in the spotlight as Emily’s mum, he did still make a name for himself in the world of music.
Still to this day, Keith will treat fans on Twitter to some of his own creations.
In 1970, the guitarist became a member of the pop band Child.
In more recent times, he has focused his energies on composing music and being his daughters number one fan.
Emily’s mum and dad separated when she was just a teen and in an interview with The Sunday Times, the TV explained she’d taken the news badly.
Speaking to the publication, she said: “It felt like my whole world was collapsing around me and the bubble of love I’ve been wrapped up in was bursting.
“I blamed my parents for ruining everything.”
Sir Paul McCartney
You certainly read it right, Beetles icon sir Paul McCartney is part of Emily’s clan.
The legendary singer and songwriter is actually first cousin’s her grandmother Bett Robbins.
Back in 1960, Paul and John Lennon once performed together at Bett’s pub the Fox and Hounds.
Speaking about their famous connection, Emily explained how “lovely” her twice removed cousin was.
In the interview with the Metro, she said: “He was a big part of my childhood growing up.
“Paul is a family man and a lovely man, caring and loving.”
Amy Robbins – Aunt
Much like sisterly duo Kate and Jane Robbin’s, aunt Amy also enjoyed time in the spotlight.
She is more widely known for her playing the role of Dr Jill Weatherill in the television series The Royal.
However, much like Emily’s mum she has also struck up many on-screen acting gigs including Eastenders, Where The Heart Is, Heartbeat, My Hero and Holby City.
Ted Robbins
Emily’s uncle is Benidorm star Tony Robbins, with the famous family connections not ending there.
He also appeared in Birds of a Feather, Little Britain and Peter Kay’s Phoenix Night, and was also the voiceover of game show Catchphrase.
Ted, who played Victor St James on Benidorm, suffered a heart attack on stage during a reunion show, but luckily survived and lost two stone in a bid to become more healthy.
Simon Shelton
Emily’s other uncle was none other than the iconic Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies, playing the role from 1997 to 2001.
Teletubbies was a global hit after being watched by one billion kids around the world in over 120 countries in 45 different languages.
He sadly died in 2018 aged 52.
