Grease star Eddie Deezen who played Eugene arrested after 'disturbance at restaurant'

Grease actor Eddie Deezen has been arrested after an incident at a Maryland restaurant, according to reports.

The 64-year-old actor is famed for playing Eugene Felsnic in the hit musical.

He was placed under arrest after allegedly causing a scene at the restaurant, according to TMZ.

Deezen reportedly refused to leave when the police arrived and threw several items at them, including plates.

The incident occurred around lunchtime when the cops were called on Deezen for causing a scene at the restaurant.

When the police arrived, Deezen reportedly went to hide behind a woman in a booth and refused multiple orders for him to leave.

He was then said to be forcibly removed from the restaurant, after throwing numerous items at officers, including plates, bowls, and food, with one of the deputies being struck, according to reports.

TMZ writes the actor was shirtless as he was removed from the premises and he was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and trespassing.

A video surfaced on Facebook which appeared to show Deezen being lead away in handcuffs and being sat on a bench, as he’s heard saying, ‘Ow I could have been hurt.’

A woman on social media claimed to be nearby when the alleged incident took place.

“So Eddie Deezen was just arrested at the mall. Why couldn’t it have been where I could get video,” she claimed.

She went on to add that he was allegedly asking customers “inappropriate questions”.

“Then was yelling at the police and telling them to arrest him and was shirtless,” she wrote.
