TV legends Antony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have revealed that they are set to release their first ever children’s book in 2022.
The award-winning presenters who are known for hosting shows such as I’m A Celeb and Britain’s Got Talent shared their excitement in a short video clip with their 4.3million Instagram followers.
Ant, 45, and Dec, 46, said they’re both thrilled to be launching their brand new publication which will be on sale in May.
In the video, Ant could be seen blowing a balloon, while Dec, who was stood next to him said: “Hi everybody, Ant and Dec here and we are very excited to be able to share the news that we will be publishing our first children’s book with Farshore next year. Isn’t that right Ant?”
Ant could be seen putting his right thumb up while he continued to blow air into a pink balloon.
Dec continued: “The title of the book is Propa Happy and it will be out on the 26th May 2022.
“Now the book will help raise vital funds for the NSPCC ahead of its annual fundraiser Childhood Day on June 10.”
But as he tried to continue the announcement, Dec was distracted by Ant’s balloon blowing.
As the balloon bursts it then revealed the front cover of their upcoming book.
The Geordie duo also shared information on their publication in the caption.
The caption read: “SO excited to introduce our first children’s book Propa Happy published in aid of @nspcc_official with @farshorebooks.
“Illustrated by @katieabey, Propa Happy will be a fun-filled guide to feeling good for kids.
“The book is out on 26th May 2022 with all proceeds going to the NSPCC. You can pre-order your copy today on the link in our bio!”
