EastEnders fans have been left concerned that Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) could be killed off, after a doctor found a lump which could be breast cancer.
Stuart had been set to get his kit off for a photoshoot, but when he noticed a rash on his chest he called it off and rushed to the doctors.
When there, the doctor shared some potentially worrying news – but assured him that it might be nothing just yet.
A concerned Stuart said: “If you’re thinking what I’m thinking… is it the word?”
The doctor told him they wouldn’t know until he had a biopsy, adding: “Male breast cancer’s extremely rare.”
But Stuart said: “But you think I might have it.”
Fans are now concerned that Stuart could be killed off – even after all of the other tough times he has been through as of late.
One person said: “Really amazing you’re raising awareness of breast cancer in men. Please don’t kill Stuart off though! He’s my favourite.”
Another said: “Watching Stuart’s storyline with his rash and possible breast cancer. I had a rash all over my body for days, then a sharp pain in my boob and there it was my lump (tumour) Cancer and mastectomy but I’m alive and loving life.”
A third said: “Because no one worries when a doctor says ‘small lump’.”
Someone else said: “Oh c’mon scriptwriters! Haven’t Stuart and Rainie been through enough?”
And a fifth added: “I hope Stuart doesn’t have cancer.”
While a sixth wrote: “Stuart, I’m so upset.”
In upcoming scenes, Stuart is set to start acting shifty after receiving his worrying news, and Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) soon notices.
But when he gets some shocking news from the doctor, what will the actual diagnosis be?
EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One
