Fans of BBC soap EastEnders couldn’t help but see the funny side during Tuesday’s episode after Kheerat Panesar went on the run but only ended up across the Square at Stacey Slater’s home.
Things were certainly heating up in the East End drama when Chelsea found her husband Gray Atkins lying injured on the floor with Kheerat standing over him.
Panicked, Chelsea immediately called the police and informed them that Gray had been attacked by Kheerat.
With no other choice, business owner Kheerat thought it would be best to flee the scene as soon as possible.
But fans were left amused when he wasn’t able to get very far.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “Kheerat’s run away all across to the other side of the square.”
Another fan exclaimed: “Kheerat ffs only went across the road!”
A third confused viewer said: “Kheerat is walking through the square, when he’s trying to hide?????????”
Later on in the programme, it soon became clear that Kheerat made the right decision to enter Stacey’s home as she was able to hide him and helped the landlord flee from the square.
With police now on the hunt for Kheerat, viewers were still aggravated with Chelsea for calling them in the first place due to the fact that Gray is a serial killer.
Jumping back onto the social media platform, one annoyed viewer shared: “The police should be going around like that looking for Gray not Kheerat, so stupid really is. Also Chelsea! Throwing Kheerat under the bus and protecting someone she knows is a MURDERER.”

Another spectator said: “Absolutely HATE chelsea!! how you gonna snitch on kheerat and you clearly know he’s been trying to help YOU.”
A third agreed and wrote: “I honestly wished that Whitney would of come in too the house now instead of Chelsea. If Whitney came in then (yes ok she may not of approved of the plan) however she would not report Kheerat too the police especially given the risk to herself as well.”
Fans of the show will have to wait to find out if Kheerat did manage to escape smoothly and if he will make a return.
