Ben Shephard hailed 'fit' by Tipping Point fans in unrecognisable throwback episode

Tipping Point host Ben Shephard left fans floored during a highlights episode of the ITV gameshow, as they branded him “fit”.

The presenter compiled a best bits for the Best Ever Finals episode, which saw one regular contestant and one celebrity go head-to-head with the machine for two incredible jackpot drops.

Second up was I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Georgia Toffolo, AKA Toff, who managed to scoop an incredible £20,000 for her chosen charity with an answer about netball.

But it was Ben’s look in the 2019 episode that most caught the eye of fans, as he looked completely different to his usual Tipping Point persona.

Ben looked younger in the episode from three years ago, wearing a white shirt open at the collar with his customary dark blazer.

The star’s hair was a little different too – shorter at the sides and smoothed back with gel.

And one gushing fan quickly penned: “Ben is looking fit on this episode!”

“Isn’t Ben fit!” another echoed.

“Ben looks fit today!” someone else gushed.

Elsewhere in the episode, Toff found herself shut down by the likeable presenter as she drew on past experience to answer a question about travel.

Toff was asked where the city of Bridgetown was in the Caribbean – and knew it wasn’t the capital of Jamaica, as she had been to the city while in Barbados.

As she giggled that she’s spent time there, Ben rolled his eyes and said: “Of course you have.”

She also used her high school experience of playing centre in a netball team to answer the sport-based question – eventually rescuing the jackpot counter from the tricky machine.

And after the win, Toff couldn’t believe her luck as she exclaimed: “I can’t believe that. That’s so much money.”

Ben replied: “£20,000, how does it feel?”, prompting the celeb to say: “Amazing, I’m really proud of myself.”

She managed to best both Coronation Street actress Lisa George and McFly star Danny Jones to make her way through to the final and come away with the epic win.

Tipping Point continues tomorrow at 4pm on ITV.
