Holly Willoughby wows in plunging gold dress as she hosts Dancing on Ice final

Holly Willoughby has returned to Dancing on Ice for the grand final.

The 41-year-old presenter was forced to miss the live semi-final two weeks ago after testing positive for coronavirus.

However, she was back on presenting duty for the series finale of the competition on Sunday (March 27) alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield.

She logged into her Instagram page to give fans a sneak peek of her latest outfit choice before the show aired on ITV, and it’s fair to say she stole the show before it even began.

The mother-of-three looked glam in a plunging golden dress which highlighted her killer figure.

Holly looked every bit the fairytale princess in the sparkling garment, which featured graceful floor-length trails.

Holly styled her trademark blonde tresses in a cropped style, looking all dolled up with a full face of make-up.

The TV queen topped off her look with a pair of chic earrings from Hstern.

Catching up with her fans before the broadcast, Holly said: “Tonight’s the night… it’s the @dancingonice grand finale! See you on @itv at 7pm… let’s do this @schofe ….”

She then thanked her team of beauty experts and stylists, adding: “thank you to @danniiwhiteman / @patsyoneillmakeup and @cilerpeksah_hairstylist for all their incredible work this series… love you girls…”

She also credited Sophie Couture for her dress.

Unsurprisingly, Holly’s gown caught the eye of her 7.7 million followers, with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section.

One fan gushed: “What a finale dress oh my god”.

A second said: “Can’t wait. You look sensational”.

A third commented: “You look stunning holly lovely dress x”.

A fourth agreed: “How gorgeous, you’re literally glowing”.

A fifth added: “love this dress!! can’t wait to watch tonight’s show”.

The final saw Kimberly Wyatt, Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne battle it out in a bid to impress the nation.

Ahead of the big show, the trio teased that they planned to go all out to impress fans — even if that means risking serious injury on live TV.

Holly was forced to miss the semi-finals of the competition last week – after catching Covid.

A statement from the show’s official Twitter account said at the time: “Unfortunately, Holly Willoughby is unable to host tonight’s show after testing positive for Covid-19. Tonight’s #DancingOnIce Semi-Final will be hosted by Phillip Schofield and we look forward to Holly returning for our Live Final”.

The final had originally been scheduled to take place last weekend, but it was forced off air as the show clashed with the FA Cup quarter-final tie between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
