Tom Parker's widow reflects on 'bittersweet' moment as his bandmate ties the knot

Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey is currently on her first holiday since her husband sadly passed away in March – and has reflected on a “bittersweet” moment.

Attending their pal’s wedding in Ireland, Kelsey said that it feels “bittersweet” to see Tom’s bandmate Ollie Marland tie the knot.

She added that it feels even more upsetting because The Wanted star Tom was supposed to be an usher for his musical pal.

Taking to Instagram in a video clip, Kelsey said: “Hey guys, so I’ve just got to Ireland today.

“I’ve come to Ireland for my best friend’s wedding Ruth Ann and Ollie’s wedding.

“Yep it’s gonna be a really weird weekend for me, obviously it’s gonna be bittersweet.

“Because obviously Ruth and Ollie are getting married, and I’m super happy for them, but Tom was meant to be here this weekend, he was meant to be an usher.

“It’s gonna be the first event, wedding, that I’ve actually been to, without him. being with me.

“So yeah, this weekend is going to be a tough one.”

Ollie and Tom were bandmates and performed under the name Lost+Found.

The pair joined forces in September 2019, with Tom announcing the news two months later in November that year.

At the time he took to Instagram and penned: “So pleased to have signed with such a fantastic publishing company in @kobaltmusic Me & @thisisojm have been hustling away for a while so to finally put pen to paper after working hard feels rewarding.”

Ollie was discovered after posting covers onto video platform YouTube before taking part in a TV talent show.

The Stoke-born singer performed to sold-out crowds including Fusion Festival and BST Hyde Park alongside the likes of The Vamps and Backstreet Boys.

One year after Tom announced that he and Ollie had joined forces for their new band, Tom was sadly diagnosed with an aggressive and incurable form of cancer.

Due to the cancer being so aggressive, Tom sadly passed away aged 33 earlier this year after battling the disease for a year and a half.
