Liam Payne may have just shot down any chances of a One Direction reunion after his recent bombshells, according to a PR expert.
During a chat with Logan Paul, Liam made a string of claims against his former bandmates and even spoke about his dislike for Zayn Malik who left the band in 2015.
The dad-of-one claimed there are “many reasons” why he will always dislike Zayn before going on to talk about his upbringing.
But PR expert Rochelle White believes that Liam’s outbursts could have shot down any chances of Zayn reuniting with the band just one more time.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, she said: “I feel that Liam was open and honest about his time with One Direction.
“However, being this open can either be positive or a negative.
“When watching the interview and from a PR’s perspective, I feel he spoke his truth and maybe didn’t have a PR brief beforehand.”
The businesswoman continued: “I don’t feel that this was an interview to reunite the group or bring them back together, I feel his fellow/past band mates watching that could feel that he either said too much or too little and maybe exposed too much of the truth.
“I feel that any real chance of them getting back together as a five-piece will not happen, but I could see maybe a trio or four-piece.
“However, a lot of time has passed and I feel that they are on to different things and maybe not on the same page musically anymore.
“Only time will tell if this has had a true impact on the wider former members and then coming back together.”
Speaking about Zayn, he said: “Before we go too deep into this, there’s many many reasons why I dislike Zayn and there’s many reasons why I’ll always always be on his side.
“If I had had to go through what he went through his growth and whatever else – my parents are overly supportive to the point where it’s annoying at times, they don’t mind me saying that and Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense.
“you can always look at the man for where he is and say ‘oh yeah, whatever, that guy’s a d**k but at the end of the day once you understand what he’s been through to get to the point, and whether or not if he actually even wanted to be there.
“And also, I’m so misunderstood by myself more than anyone, I don’t know what I’m doing or why I’m here, I can’t sit here and d**k on him because of whatever.”
He also claimed he and his bandmates including Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Malik came to blows, saying: “I think it was well known in the band that I don’t like taking sh*t.
“At a certain point, I made it very obvious, I’m not going to tell you how.
“There was one moment where there was an argument backstage and someone, one member in particular threw me up a wall.”
