Kate Beckinsale parades figure as she strips to skirt dedicated to EastEnders icon

Kate Beckinsale paid tribute to the late EastEnders icon Dot Cotton on Instagram in a rather unusual way.

The actress, 48, shared a slew of sultry snaps while wearing a mini-skirt emblazoned with June Brown’s EastEnders actress Dot’s face.

Kate, flaunted her svelte figure as she posed for an impromptu at-home photo shoot on Tuesday (June 21).

The Underworld actress looked incredible as she slipped into a black crop top and her Dot Cotton skirt while posing alluringly on a furry couch.

Kate opted for her long brunette tresses to be styled in their natural curls and captioned the sultry post with the word “OiOi”.

The mum-of-one opted for a gentle amount of glamourous make-up as she posed with one hand in the air and pouted her plump rose lips.

Kate’s followers flocked to the comment section to share their responses to the unique tribute.

“Wait i just realised that Dot Cotton is on your skirt, hahahaha,” said one follower.

One witty fan wrote: “Nice cotton skirt,” while another added: “I can hear Dot going ‘ooh I say! Mr Opodopoulous wouldn’t like that going on in ‘is laundrette.'”

Last month, the London-born Kate recently admitted her tongue-in-cheek online content is typically curated for her mum Judy Loe.

She paid homage to Dot, a much-loved character on EastEnders known for her love of gossip and always having a cigarette in hand.

Dot was permanently written out of the soap earlier this year following the death of actress June Brown who died in April at the age of 95.

Dot first appeared on EastEnders in 1985 as the mother of her criminal son Nick, appearing on the soap until 1993 before returning in 1997.

Her last appearance on the soap aired in 2020, with actress June later confirming she had permanently left the soap when Dot relocated to Ireland.

In April, June’s family announced she had passed away, asking fans to raise a glass of sweet sherry in honour of her iconic character.
