Bradley Walsh made a cheeky dig at his co-star Shaun Wallace after he took over his job on The Chase.
During Tuesday’s instalment of the popular ITV gameshow (June 21), the former Coronation Street star welcomed four new contestants onto the show who battled it out to take home the cash prize.
And on today’s episode of the beloved daytime show, The Dark Destroyer, 62, took on Jackie, Chris, Mike and Hannah who managed to rake in £7,000 in their joint jackpot.

But it appeared as though the professional quizzer woke up on the wrong side of the bed as he quickly eliminated Mike from the team, with plenty of fighting talk for the rest of the team members.
Yet it was his head-to-head match with Hannah from Winchester that ruffled the barrister’s feathers most after he warned her of a challenging round ahead before the show went to a break.
He said: “Now Hannah with her youth, hello Hannah. See you in part three.”
It was at this point that the TV star hit back at the mastermind and called him out for taking over his presenting role at the show.
He complained: “That’s mu job, he’s even now doing my job, as if I don’t know what to say!
As the audience chuckled at his complaints, he added: “See you in part three.”
It comes after The Chase fans were left fuming when one player claimed Jenny ‘The Vice’ Ryan was the ‘easiest quizzer to beat’.
On Monday nigh (June 20), a repeated episode from Series 12 in 2018 saw Lix, Richard, Ash and Jessica step into the studio to try their luck against Chaser Paul Sinha, who now hosts his own ITV trivia show called Paul Sinha’s TV Showdown.
But Liz angered viewers when she walked up to the podium and seemed to question Jenny’s quizzing skills – by claiming she would be the easiest to beat on the show.
The six chasers, deemed “Britain’s finest quiz brains” by show host Bradley, include MarkLabbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul and Jenny.
The New Zealand native had managed to bank £6,000 in her cashbuilder before Brad asked her who she would like to face.
Liz replied: “Perhaps Shaun, because he’s a barrister and I used to be a barrister and solicitor, or The Vixen because I think she’d be the easiest to beat.”

However, the contestant wasn’t in luck as it was Paul who walked into the studio to face her in the head-to-head round.
Fans were not best pleased at the player’s assessment and protested against it on Twitter during the episode.
One user wrote: “Jenny the easiest to beat! Complete nonsense #TheChase,” while another agreed, saying: “Really? I thought that was Shaun #TheChase.”
A third questioned: “Did Liz just say my beloved Vixen would be the easiest to beat??” as a fourth shared a clip captioned “wow” as they added: “Jenny the easiest to beat apparently.”
