Selma looked sensational in the armless black gown with a gold flower applique detail across the left side of her torso.

Wearing her short blonde hair in a low bun at the nape of her neck, the Legally Blonde actress completed her look with gold pendant drop earrings and dark eye makeup.

Upon hearing the applause from her colleagues, an overwhelmed Selma burst into nervous laughter.

Giggling into the microphone, she said: “Hi.”

Following more applause and a standing ovation from celebrities including Zendaya, she said: “Thank you. I am so, so honoured to be here this evening to present the final award for outstanding drama series.”

Selma went public with her MS diagnosis to fans on Instagram in October 2018.

The lifelong disease affects the brain and nervous system and can lead to vision, balance and walking problems.

Confirming her diagnosis at the time, Selma wrote: “I am disabled.

“I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy and my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS but we are doing it.”
