Loose Women's Linda Robson in career change as she lands major movie role

Loose Women’s Linda Robson has landed herself a movie role.

The TV legend is set to be in Anuvahood’s sequel Sumotherhood.

It will be her first big-screen outing in more than a decade.

She told Daily Star: “I had a role as a mum in Anuvahood and all these years on they asked me to be in this film. It’s great. And it is nice to get back to acting.”

Linda has already filmed her scenes for the film.

And the former Birds Of A Feather actress got to turn the air blue… very blue indeed.

She said: “I get to swear a lot in it.

“Basically there is a robbery in a bank and I’m one of the customers.

“I stand there and say, ‘For f*** sake, how much longer is this going to take? I’ve got the f***ing 48 bus to catch’.”

Linda famously caused quite the stir when she swore live on TV on Loose Women last year, so this role presumably wasn’t too difficult for her.

She added: “This film was a great role for me because I quite like swearing.”

Sumotherhood will star a string of big names including Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Saunders and Jaime Winstone.

It’s being directed by award-winning talent Adam Deacon.

Anuvahood was released in 2011 and was a parody of films such as Kidulthood and Adulthood, which both starred Adam Deacon.

A sequel was first teased in December 2016, before it was confirmed in January 2018.
