Jaqueline Jossa has made a return to EastEnders to film scenes for Dot Branning’s funeral.
The Lauren Branning actress was back at the soap’s studios last week for filming Dot’s send-off after last appearing on the soap four years ago.
Her comeback came as part of a special tribute episode to late Dot actress June Brown, who played the character for 35 years.
A source told The Sun: “Bosses got in touch with Jac about returning for Dot’s special episode and she was more than happy to come back. She was back last week filming her little guest stint.”

A horse-drawn hearse containing Dot’s name in a floral tribute has also been spotted being taken into the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
Jacqueline spent eight years on the soap as Lauren Branning, before later winning I’m A Celeb in 2019.
Lauren left Albert Square in February 2018 after her sister Abi died.
Jacqueline is expected to appear in a couple of episodes before her character returns to New Zealand.
Jacqueline was the daughter of Jim Branning – who Dot married in 2002.
Dot was written out of the soap after June, who played her 1985 to 2020, died in April aged 95.
The source added: “EastEnders bosses are pulling out all the stops to show just how much June was loved by the cast and crew.
“She was a huge part of EastEnders and her legacy will live on in Albert Square forever. She will never be forgotten.”
They added “the script is beautiful” and what June “would have wanted” but it was an “incredibly hard couple of days on set as she was so loved”.
Dot previously left Walford to live with her grandson Charlie in Ireland.
Last year Jaqueline told her 3.5M Instagram followers last year that she’d only go back to the show if her on-sceeen dad, Max Branning – played by Jake Wood – did as well.
She said: “The timing would have to be right. It would only happen if all the Brannings came back at the same time. So EastEnders would have to want us all back.”
