Strictly Come Dancing star Tony Adams left viewers divided on Sunday night (Oct 23) after he sailed through to next week despite receiving the lowest scores.
The former footballer has had a rather shaky start in the competition but has shown some improvement despite only receiving a total score of 19 on Saturday night.
But during the results show which saw two contestant battle it out in the dreaded dance off, some fans were left feeling shocked when Tony and his dance partner Katya Jones were able to avoid it another week.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts with some complaining that popularity was taking precedence when viewers were voting.
One person wrote: “Tony Adams staying for another week goes to show the public voting’s f****d up since Brexit.”
Another spectator penned: “Tony is lovely, but he can not dance. He should have been in the dance off and heading home tonight.”
A third chimed: “Oh dear, Here we go again. Tony in the bottom two yet voted through because…? So someone who can actual dance better has to go into the dance-off.
“The criteria is DANCE, not ENTERTAINING. If it were the latter then Anne Widdicombe should have won it; right?”
Meanwhile a fourth added: “Better dancers are going out because Tony Adams is staying in.”
But others were more sympathetic and felt that Tony deserved to be in the competition.
Many also highlighted the fact that the 56 year old is entertaining and is trying his best to improve each week.
Offering an opposing view, one viewer said: “There’s always a not so good dancer, who never gets voted out. Many are criticising Tony, I feel it’s unfair because he has improved every week and works so hard, not just relying on staying in cos he’s ‘bad’ and public keeping him there for a laugh.”
While another echoed: “I like Tony Adams. To me it’s about personality & yes it does help if you can dance but he does entertain.”
On Saturday night’s show, Tony and Katya danced to theme tune of Grandstand to celebrate 100 years of the BBC.
Fans at home to seemed to love the couple’s take on the cha-cha and they will be heading into next week’s Halloween themed show.
But unfortunately it was a bad night for Jayde Adams and her partner Karen Hauer who was eliminated from the competition.
