James Corden reckons it’s good when he fails because it is the only time he learns.
The chat show host, 44, admits getting things wrong has helped made him a global star.
He told the Radio Times: “I think failure is necessary for every single person. You need it!

“My experience of my career has been that I’ve learnt almost nothing in success. And I’ve learnt everything in, for want of a better word, failure.”
James’ rise to fame started in 2000 when he starred in the ITV comedy-drama series Fat Friends as Jamie Rymer.

He went on to co-star in his own series, BBC Three sitcom Gavin & Stacey, which he wrote with Fat Friends co-star Ruth Jones.
In the US he is best known as the host of The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The actor has been under fire in recent weeks for “upsetting” staff at New York restaurant Balthazar.
Daily Star reported on Monday (October 30) that the owner of the New York restaurant that banned the talk show host for being abusive to staff had seemingly rescinded his forgiveness and re-started his row with the star.

Keith McNally, the owner of Balthazar, initially blocked James after he was reportedly rude to the waiting staff when they got his wife’s omelette order wrong.
The star first denied any wrongdoing but then issued an apology.
He discussed the incident on his American late-night talk show but denied “yelling like crazy” and said that McNally “wasn’t even there”.

McNally has since blasted the actor and singer again and said James will do anything to “save his bacon” and has “told a massive lie again”.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain last month, the star spoke of his “pride” at his work across the pond, but feels the time was right to return to his homeland along with wife Julia Carey and their three children.
