'Dark times' ahead for I'm A Celeb's Matt Hancock as 'mental health will suffer'

A psychic has promised a ‘dark period’ ahead for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Matt Hancock after a ‘very worrying’ Tarot reading.

Celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman said the former Health Secretary will be left ‘hopeless and alone’ after leaving the ITV jungle – with neither politics nor telly in his future.

She said: “One card pulled for his fate after the show is very worrying. The Ten of Swords is a card that shows someone feeling hopeless and alone.

“It will be a dark period in his life, when neither career option will feel right for him. It is a card of endings, and his mental health will suffer.”

Hancock’s presence in the jungle could also force some of his fellow celebs to quit after Olivia Attwood’s explosive exit, as Inbaal warned: “As a fiery, confident man, which the Tarot says he will be, he’ll make a fantastic technical addition to the team, but will not make an emotional link with others, and may even cause others to want to cry, even leave.”

Drawing the Magician – which represents the ‘confident wheeler-dealer’ – and King of Wands, Inbaal insisted Matt comes in from an “aggressive, controlling” point, and will “struggle to bond with anyone” during his jungle tenure.

Despite all that, his ‘wheeler-dealer’ persona means Hancock can “talk his way out of anything”, using “trickery and wizardry to charm and disarm”, according to Inbaal.

She explained: “His jungle mates will soon forget his political history and will value him as a member of the tribe, appreciating his contributions and his can-do approach to challenges. He’ll be a fabulous contestant in everything from pulling his weight to not whinging.

The Tarot reading was ‘very worrying’

“However, such powerful cards don’t bode well for building friendships, and the surroundings won’t show the best sides of his personality.”

“It is always darkest before sunrise, and it’s not the end of his life, but his life after the show won’t be a smooth return to his political seat, nor a smooth transition into a breakfast radio show.”
