EastEnders viewers were left stunned when ‘evil’ Janine Butcher picked a fight on poorly Lola Pearce.
Fans of the BBC soap were furious as Janine continued her ‘manipulative’ campaign in Thursday’s (November 24) episode after rowing with fiance Mick Carter and calling off their wedding.
However, later on in the episode, Mick was seen once again proposing to Janine – this time in front of the whole pub with a huge diamond ring after ex-wife Linda Carter convinced him to do things over.

Viewers were then disgusted when Janine picked a fight on Lola – who is battling a terminal brain tumour – and mocked her in The Queen Vic as she tried to enjoy a quiet drink with her family.
As Lola, as well as grandad Billy Mitchell, baby daddy Ben Mitchell and boyfriend Jay Brown were enjoying each other’s company, Linda spotted Lexi sneaking a sip of wine from a glass at the table and went over to tell her off.
Seeing the commotion Janine then called Lexi a “feral child” and suggested she needed to bet got under control with better parenting.
As Janine and Lola descended into a slanging match over Lola’s daughter Lexi, Lola – who is currently undergoing radiotherapy on her brain after an operation to reduce her glioblastoma tumour – was seen collapsing against the bar.
Having just commented on her ‘pathetic’ life, gloating Janine commented on her “day drinking,” before 10-year-old Lexi leapt to her mums defence and screamed at Janine that “she ain’t drunk, she’s got cancer.”
Stunned viewers then took to Twitter to berate the cunning antics of Janine.
One wrote: “That Janine is pure evil, what is mick thinking being with her.”
Another added: “Janine didn’t even apologise to Lola.”
A third said: “Janine going off at Lola and Lexi like that is the perfect example of why you should never judge someone you don’t know bc you never know what they’re going through.”
A fourth social media user tweeted: “Obsessed with Lola telling everyone in the Vic she’s got a brain tumour and Janine is stood there smirking thinking her wedding plans are more relevant.”
A fifth offered: “Janine can’t really judge anyone’s parenting skills when she abandoned her own daughter for years.”
EastEnders airs Monday – Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
