Helen Flanagan has revealed how she told her children that she had a boob job – saying she was “honest” with them and “didn’t make a big deal of it”.
The former Coronation Street actress, 32, recently underwent breast surgery after becoming unhappy with the way she looked.
The mum-of-three Helen broke the news to her Instagram followers in an update, explaining that she had chosen to undergo the enhancement procedure in secret to help her self-confidence.

Helen shares her three children with her footballer ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, 33, who she split with in October after 13 years together.
One fan asked her: “Will you tell your girls? Like how will you explain it to them? X”
The star wrote back saying that she had already told them, adding: “I was just honest with them and didn’t make a big deal of it.
“Matilda is just an angel and just no bother at all. Delilah is only four and as soon as she came home she was so excited to see me she head butted me by accident,” adding: “I just said mummy’s had a little op so I can’t carry you or Charlie. Delilah still will be carried.”
Helen said she “never thought” that she would have a boob job due to her previously “busty figure” but she went from wearing an E-cup to a B-cup after having kids.
She said: “There’s no nicer way to say it but they just became really saggy. It just affected my confidence.”

The actress added that she “loved breastfeeding” her three children but noticed a significant change in her body after giving birth to Delilah in 2018, putting the surgery on hold until after Charlie was born.
In another question on Instagram a follower asked: “How long after are you able to lift? I have a one year old and desperate to have mine done.”
Helen replied: “I just can’t wait to hold and carry Charlie like normal, that is the most frustrating.
“I made sure my child care was good before my operation. I go back in a few days to sort my dressings etc and I just hope they tell me I can carry home again soon.”
She added: “I’m taking my recovery seriously though I don’t want to pull anything.”
