Alesha Dixon has revealed that her new Britain’s Got Talent co-star Bruno Tonioli has been “bruising” her.

However, she also gave away from BGT behind-the-scenes secrets, when the Scottish host asked how Bruno was getting on as the brand new judge.

Alesha told her: “I had a few Bruno bruises, as I like to call them. He likes to grab the arm. I don’t think he’s got the rules yet no. After day two, we just turned to each other and said let’s just throw the rule book away this is the year of anything goes.”

Talking further about the show, she added: “Every single year without fail you are seeing something you’ve never seen before and after doing it for 10 years people ask surely you’re running out of talent? absolutely not, if anything it is the opposite, people get more inspired.

“I think after the few years we’ve had, people are desperate to have the opportunity to be on stage and do what they love and this year the talent is phenomenal.”

Strictly star Bruno has taken over from comedian David Walliams after his departure was announced late last year.

David was reportedly forced to apologise for his comments about a contestant which inevitably led to his exit.

A source told The Sun: “He hasn’t taken the decision lightly, but it just feels like time to move on.”

“David has decided to bow out after a ten-year run. He wants to leave on a high after a wonderful time.

“Being on the show has been a huge source of entertainment and joy for him and he is arguably the most popular member of the panel.”

According to the publication, the professional funny man hasn’t taken the decision lightly and is now going to focus on other projects as the show goes on without him.

Joining Alesha and Bruno on this year’s panel are original panellists, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell.
