Real Housewives star warned of ghosts in £11m home – but up for romance with hot phantom

One Real Housewives of Toronto star is living with ghosts – and she wouldn’t say no to a romance with a “good looking” phantom.

Ann Kaplan Mulholland recently ditched her native Canada to move into an £11million castle in Kent, England, along with her plastic surgeon husband Dr Stephen Mulholland.

The reality star is opening her home, Lympne Castle, to the public for special historic tours, as well as operating it as a wedding venue, but she’s been warned of some rather more spooky inhabitants sharing the property.

According to paranormal experts, the castle is haunted by the ghosts of six Saxons murdered by the Normans on the property, while the ghost of a Roman soldier has also been seen falling from the battlements.

Opening up exclusively to Daily Star, Ann explained: “I have heard [the ghost stories]. I think the pseudo friends that I don’t really like, I’m going to tell them a lot about the ghosts so they don’t visit me!

“I knew there was a graveyard right next to the castle which is adjacent to St Stephen’s [church], part of the Church of England.

“But apparently there’s a ghost at the top of the stairs that some people have witnessed. I’m a little bit nervous about that.

“Maybe I’ll get a ghost sniffing dog or something. It’s not that I believe that ghosts are about, but I don’t want to be wrong!” she admitted.

But Ann also hopes that the ghost is an attractive spectre – as he’d make the “perfect boyfriend”.

She confessed: “[Hopefully] it’s a really good looking male, that would be like, ‘oh hello!’ It would be perfect.

“They go away when you want them to, you don’t have to see them all the time. How perfect is that?”

Ann, who boasts a net worth of more than $500million, decided to purchase her new castle home after seeking out houses in London that would have set her back even more.

It turns out the 1,000-year-old Medieval castle was more affordable than living in the city centre, so she and her hubby decided to make the move.

Amazingly, the 27,000 square foot property comes with fortified towers, 20 bedrooms, a bar area and four of its own cottages.

There’s also an orchard, stables, walled gardens and a restaurant.
