Love Island star George Fensom has broken his silence after he was dumped from the villa and jokingly revealed why he thinks he was sent home.
The 24-year-old became the first contestant to be dumped from the ITV2 villa after failing to find a match with any of the single girls.
Despite being surrounded by controversy before the series had even started, George has thanked his followers for the “nice messages” he has received.

He also suggested the real reason he was voted off by his fellow islanders, when Whitney Adebayo chose to couple up with Mehdi Edno, leaving George without a match.
Taking to his Instagram story, George spoke to his 13.3k followers and said: “Shout out everyone sending me nice messages, kind support and that, do appreciate it.”
He went on: “Left the villa too soon, but do you know what I was obviously too leng.
“But yeah obviously appreciate all the support, thank you for all the messages and yeah, just give me a couple of days just to sort my bits out and I will get replying and we will talk about plans moving forward. Bosh.”
“Leng” is slang for attractive – although the fact that none of the girls chose him might disprove his point.
What those plans might be remains to be seen, considering many fans were celebrating the fact he would no longer be on their screens.
Before he entered the villa, a series of controversial tweets including offensive language resurfaced.
He was also accused of being controlling by an ex, who claimed he would attempt to control what she ate and wore.
She also told The Sun that he cheated on her and made her feel so worthless that she went as far as stopping eating.
The woman, Katie Hewitt, was the second of George’s exes to speak out, after another, Ebony Keeley, claimed he drove her to the brink during their two-year relationship.
In a statement, George’s family said: “This is a one-sided account of a relationship George had six years ago when he was 18, and this is not behaviour we recognise.
“We have been very reluctant to speak about this as we have no desire to in any way cause distress to George’s ex-girlfriends, but given George has no right to reply, and because of the strength of these unsubstantiated claims being made against him, we feel we have no choice.
“These claims are false, unjustified and hurtful, and George would absolutely refute these. It has been very upsetting to see our son labelled using such damaging terms.
“We know our son better than anyone and we also had close insights into these two relationships, and this isn’t the full story. George only ever wanted to end this amicably and move on in a civil manner so it is very sad it has come to this.
“We would implore everyone to give him a chance to prove he is not the person he is being portrayed to be.”
