Shirley Ballas has hired a social media manager to help her ward off the internet trolls.
The Strictly judge has taken action after being the target of vile abuse for years.
A source close to her told me: “Shirley has brought in an expert to help her deal with social media.

“After years of taunts, she is taking control of the situation.”
The expert will filter comments and messages to ensure she doesn’t have to see any nasty taunts and insults.
My source added: “Shirley won’t have to read the nastiness anymore.
“It means she can focus on her job as head judge.”
Earlier this year, Shirley said the online comments were getting so bad she was considering quitting Strictly. She said: “Last year I was struggling. It wasn’t just a little bit, it was a lot.”
And Shirley added: “I felt that the abuse snowballed out of control and impacted me in such a negative way.”
The star hopes the steps she’s taken will be enough to free her from abuse as she takes her place back alongside her fellow Strictly judges in September.
This comes after Shirley told The Guardian what her biggest regret in life was.
She told the publication: “My biggest regret? That my second marriage, to my son’s father (Corky Ballas) didn’t work. If you could go back and do things again, I’d probably do things differently. If you’re young when you get married it’s extremely difficult.”
Shirley also revealed that she’s given most of her dance trophies away and explained the heartwarming reason why.
The dance pro explained: “I gave most of my dance trophies away to venues and championships that couldn’t afford trophies for the children or medals for them. It’s more important to me that somebody else benefits. I have the memories.”
She then revealed how she likes to unwind after a busy bout of Strictly.
The judge added: “Strictly is so glamorous that I like to unwind by wearing zero makeup and a sloppy tracksuit. How else? I go to yoga. I light candles in the bathroom and soak in the tub. I walk in the park with Charlie, my Lhasa Apso. My mum, Audrey, is 85 and lives with me, and we like to snuggle up in bed and watch murder mysteries.”
