Britney Spears wanted to ‘break free’ prompting split from Sam Asghari

With Sam Asghari ending his marriage to Britney Spears last week, the popstar is said to have “decided enough is enough”.

A specialist provided insights into Britney’s circumstances and the resulting divorce, shedding light on the possibility that her marriage problems might have roots in her upbringing, with the Gimme More singer wanting to “break free”.

“Having looked at Britney’s childhood and family set up, how her life is playing out is no surprise to me,” Noor Hibbert, Celebrity Transformation Coach and Sunday Times Bestselling author explained.

Speaking to The Mirror , Noor said: “We base a lot of our patterns of behaviour and our templates for adult relationships on what we see, hear and experience as children.

The expert admitted that she didn’t think Sam had filed for divorce because the honeymoon period was over, but because she believed “Britney has a belief at her core that relationships are not safe”.

“We can see this from what we know of her parent’s relationship and what she would have witnessed as a little girl,” Noor said.

According to the author, people’s parental relationships can become “templates for adult relationships”.

Noor continued: “Her mother and father would often be fighting, arguing, there would be alcoholic rages and then begging for forgiveness.

“Britney has said she was very anxious, as any child would be living in that situation.”

They explained that Britney would have seen a lot of things as a threat in their relationship, prompting a fight or flight response.

Given Britney’s childhood encounters with relationships, Noor affirmed that she might have associated the notion of love and partnerships with negative experiences.

Noor went on to discuss Britney’s conservatorship which ended in 2021, and how after she got freedom from her father, it was possible that “something in her head also switched” and that she wanted to “just break free”.

The expert’s opinion comes as recent reports revealed Sam Asghari broke up with the award-winning singer due to a significant decline in her behaviour.

The 41-year-old singer’s conduct was described as progressively erratic, even including instances where she hurled knives at her residence’s walls.
