Real Housewives star Jane Rayner has been fined £1,500 after spitting in a man’s face at a coffee shop in Jersey.
The TV star, who appeared in the first line-up of The Real Housewives of Jersey from 2020 until last year, received the hefty penalty after pleading guilty to assault.
St Helier Magistrate’s Court was told that the 59-year-old spat directly in the man’s face at the Cooper & Co coffee shop in Castle Quay after verbally abusing him.

The court heard that Rayner stormed into the coffee shop after she put up her middle finger at him in the main square.
Centenier Paul Huelin, the prosecutor, said: “She put up her middle finger. Then she entered the coffee shop and gave him verbal abuse. She deliberately spat in his face. It landed on his face and glasses.”
Paul Nicholls, defending Rayner, said: “She has said previously that he intimidated [her].
“She is profoundly sorry and embarrassed by her action. It was an incident out of character.”
