“No, of course it’s not,” replied Carol. “You know me better than that!”

Later in the programme, the BBC Radio 5 Live presenter was back to her old tricks as she reintroduced Carol to viewers for her next weather report.

“Good morning, Carol. Now, you’ve predicted a heatwave at the end of next week… Did you see Carol’s eye widen then?,” Naga laughed as she tapped Charlie on the arm.

“Absolute nonsense!,” Carol could be heard saying in the background.

As the blonde beauty laughed and shook her head, the news anchor continued: “Well they’re probably narrowed. She’s cross!”

Naga continued: “So, heatwave next week and not a drop of rain this weekend, yes?”

The weathercaster let out a huge laugh as she shut her co-star down once and for all, responding: “Only in your dreams Naga because sadly that is wrong!”

The playful interactions continued throughout the episode, with Carol branding Naga “so naughty” after she made a joke about her name.

As Charlie prepared to introduce his co-star, he slipped up on his words as he said: “Let’s have a look at the Carol,” before sighing.

Naga chipped in: “I like to look at the Carol,” adding: “She is referred to as ‘The Carol’. She insists on that. It’s never just Carol, but we try to keep that off air.”

“Naga you are so naughty!,” joked the BBC star.
