MAFS UK groom takes brutal swipe at ‘fake as f**k’ co-stars and ‘contradicting’ experts

Married at First Sight UK star Luke Worley has called out his “fake as f**K’ co-stars just days before the 2023 series debut.

Fans will watch the sales executive marry a complete stranger after meeting for the first time at the altar when the show makes an explosive return to E4 next week.

He’s turned to relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas in a bid to improve his “mess” of a love life.

Luke says he loved the advice he received from the famous trio during his time in the experiment but wished he challenged them more.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, he explained: “I’ll be honest, I said I wouldn’t change my journey but one thing I wish I did more of was challenge the experts.

“I feel like they contradicted themselves quite a lot, I’ll be honest.

“I loved the advice I got but sitting back and watching other people, you realise they say one thing to one couple and the opposite to another.

“Sometimes I was thinking ‘hold on, how much of this is production here and not the actual experts themselves’ but that’s the only doubt being open and honest.”

The upcoming series of MAFS UK has been described as the most dramatic ever and Luke didn’t hold back when it came to his fellow contestants.

He said: “I’ll be honest there’s a couple in there who’s fake as f**k from start to finish.

“The tension before dinner parties you could cut with a knife. You knew exactly what was going to go down. You have close friends there but there’s enemies who you can’t stand.”

Luke got asked to appear on the show before but didn’t feel like the time was right.

The TV star, who previously appeared on The Language of Love with Davina McCall, explained: “I did get asked to appear on series one and two but I said no because I wasn’t ready but this time I thought, ‘do you know what, I’m going to give it a go’, and I’m glad I did.”

Fans will have to see which one of the eight blushing brides Luke marries and if they end up making it to the vow renewal.

Married at First Sight UK returns to E4 on Monday, September 18 at 9pm
