Hollyoaks Rayne’s killer ‘exposed’ as fans ‘work out’ final revenge murder twist

Hollyoaks influencer Rayne Royce (Jemma Donovan) met her demise earlier this week in a dramatic whodunnit murder plot.

The social media star was bumped off by one of her twenty-somethings group at her big party held at a lavish mansion. Police have since launched an investigation into her death. Most of the party-goers have.a motive in wanting revenge of Rayne but are any of them capable of murder?

Some fans are convinced that none of the 11 potential suspects actually killed Rayne and that the twisted village in fact ended her own life to get the ultimate revenge and turn the group against each other as they blame each other for what happened.

Taking to social media, one fan guessed: “Bet Rayne hit herself on the head with something and hid it in Brent’s car and then staged a drowning to frame him and gain sympathy from everyone and publicity but it went wrong.” Another added: “Rayne definitely killed herself.”

A third person agreed: “Could Rayne have killed herself?”. Someone else typed: “So how long before it’s revealed Rayne killed herself, will have had people framed for her death and have all those who were there turn on each other believing each other to be responsible for her murder?”

The aftermath of the huge death, Lacey Lloyd’s (Annabelle Davis) peculiar behaviour proving to be a cause for concern with Nadira Valli (Ashling O’Shea) left confused over what she’s up to after the lawyer takes a secretive phone call. Rayne’s boyfriend Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) has also vanished without a trace, leaving some residents certain that he’s the killer.

James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) arrives at the share house in search of his son but he’s nowhere to be seen, with Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer) having been told previously that Romeo was staying with his dad.

Cheryl, the mum of Rayne’s ex Brent), also arrives in the village and her interests are left piqued where she overhears that not only is Romeo missing but that he’s also deleted his social media.

Speaking about the storyline, Lacey actress Annabelle Davis told Daily Star: “It’s not been an easy ride for their relationship. Even before we saw them in Hollyoaks, who knows what’s happened.

“It’s been a very turbulent relationship and in the past couple of months, Rayne’s behaviour has been horrendous and that is enough to push Lacey over the edge. It’s enough to push anyone over the edge.”
