Former Big Brother star Zak has taken aim at Chanelle and revealed he’s convinced she’s “playing a game”.
The 28-year-old became the second contestant to leave the house during this year’s series which left him feeling stunned. Talking exclusively to Daily Star, Zak admitted that he didn’t expect to receive the amount of nominations that he did while on the ITV2 show.
But when asked if he felt certain housemates were playing a tactical game to try and stay in the house longer, Zak was quick to point out one housemate in particular. He told Daily Star: “Everyone in there is in there for their own self. Everyone’s a main character of their own story.

“But at the same time… I do believe that even Chanelle is playing too much on the quiet side of things, she’s always in the background whispering. So she’s always trying to stay low.
“Looking back there were a lot of times when me and her shared quite a lot of conversations and we shared a lot of stories together as well and then watching it back there were a lot of episodes where she’s actually talking about me.” He explained.
He added that he believes Chanelle could be “winging it” and added: “I think she’s just sitting on the fence, she’s trying to get involved in people’s conversations, she trying not to be in the limelight. But she’s trying her best to stay there longest and she’s just winging it and she’s just slowly, slowly building a team.”
“If you watch it carefully she’s always in the background. She doesn’t really get involved in a lot of conflict. But as soon as she walks away, she talks about you.”
Earlier this week, Chanelle landed herself in a “bullying” scandal after viewers disliked the way her fellow housemates left her out. On Wednesday night’s episode Paul, Olivia, Tom and Jenkin decided to “ice out” Chanelle after they noticed that she was talking to other housemates rather than spending the evening with them.
Sharing his displeasure, Tom could be said to his housemates: “We tell her she’s spreading herself too thin and we ice her out. Then tomorrow we don’t speak to her all day.” But once Chanelle found out how they felt, she was clearly uncomfortable.
But fans found it distasteful too and took to X, formerly known as Twitter to vent. One viewer said: “Their jealousy and insecurity over Chanelle talking to the other group and trying to pull her away from “boring Yinrun” is so embarrassing. Such mean girl energy from Tom, Jenkin, Olivia and Paul.”
Big Brother airs on weekdays on ITV2 from 9pm or catch-up on ITVX
