ITV I’m A Celebrity star Nigel Farage cut short by Ant McPartlin as he’s axed from jungle

Nigel Farage was noticeably disappointed when he finished in third place on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

And host Ant McPartlin had to hurry up the Brexit lover at the end of his exit interview, because they were running out of time. Asked who he wanted to win, Nigel admitted he’d love both Tony and Sam to win it, but Ant told him to keep his answer short.

When he was asked who he would like to win the show he said: “Both great fellas” before Ant interrupted: “Come on, give us a straight answer.” It was at this point that he confessed: “If I was going to war, I’d want to be with Tony. But I think for pure entertainment, it has to be Sam.”

“I had the time this year and I thought I’m 60 next year, if not now then I’ll never do it. I certainly did my best and I showed no fear at all.”

When he was asked what it was like living with the the other campmates, he confessed: “Some people are very scruffy, I won’t name names because it’d be a very long list.

“But if you asked me if I’d do it again, I think I probably would, I think I probably would!” It’s fair to say his time in the jungle certainly hasn’t been short of talking points – from Brexit rows with Fred Sirieix to baring his bottom live on air.

Boxer Tony quipped: “I reckon the world is close to coming to an end. I’ve got hot pants on and I’m going to jump on an inflatable toy with Nigel Farage.”
